Capturing flowers, using the macro lens, shows intricate details, and occasionally captures a surprise, like the Honey Bee.

The greatest discovery of learning a new lens occurs when an ordinary subject, such as the common Oleander bloom, becomes a fantastic composition. Close up shots occasionally presents challenges when nats or small bugs get in the way. However, great shots can happen by accident like this one, of a Honey Bee and the pollen collected on the hind legs. Check out bugs up close.
